About the Home
Serving Senior Citizens with Compassion and Commitment
The Social Development and Research Centre (SDRC), Phouden has been serving older persons since December 1998 through a Day Care Centre (Multi Service Centre) supported by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.
Under the revised Integrated Programme for Senior Citizens (IPSrC), effective from 01 April 2018, the centre was upgraded into a Maintenance of Senior Citizens' Home providing full-time shelter and support for 25 senior citizens.
Located at Singa Mayai Leikai, Phouden, Thoubal District, Manipur, the home offers a safe and caring environment for neglected, destitute and disabled older persons.
